There are so many editors available today for HTML pages that it is an impossible task to even provide a comprehensive list. Some of these are Editplus, Notetab Pro, HTMLPad, Dreamweaver, CoffeeCup, AceHTML, FirstPage and Frontpage. If you know what you are doing you could even use Notepad for this but it is not recommended for large pages.

As for Help Editors, the list is shorter than that for editors, but we suggest one of the following: HTML Help Workshop, EasyCHM, WinCHM or HelpWriter.

You will need the latest version of our viewer (EONViewer) to view the VR files. Unfortunately you cannot edit these files unless you have the full programming/ authoring software. Because of this restriction, most i3dlo’s however, are built to enable you to at least customize these VR interactive 3D learning objects (i3dLO) by replacing audio and graphics files using a simple compression tool such as Winzip. Go here to find out more about customizing i3dlo’s.

Modelling packages require more processing power than most software packages and are often quite expensive too. Some good examples are 3D StudioMax, Maya or Blender.

Texturing and image editing can best be done with tools like Photoshop or Gimp

To help you along your way to localize/ customize the i3dlo’s you find here, we have provided you with a few tools, namely:

Gimp
EON Viewer
Acrobat Reader
HTML Help Workshop
